The story of Dolls of Decadence aka Dollstory started in July 2003, when Oliver had an idea of a devastating rockband, that literally crushes boundaries and takes a word "rock" to the new level by maximizing music and image and bringin' unseen elements to on stage with massive live-show. A couple of months later a guitarist Micky tried to respond to Oliver's "wanted" announcement in a local newspaper, but his mail never reach Oliver. By accident, in the same week, they found themselves talking at the infamous rock club Freetime and later on jamming together. Dollstory was made. Micky and Oliver joined forces and started to write the songs and ambitiously gather up the rotten gang of rock and roll.

After several auditions Angelo was found from Tampere and he joined the band. 2004 showed the other side of this rusty coin, but this fragile year of ups and downs made 'em only stronger. In June 2005 Harry was found for the lead vocals, but after a short period this line-up had to call its dirty curtain due to unsolved problems and different goals. In the end of that year Oliver met Emmy and soon Dollstory was made when she joined the band as a lead singer. This filthy train of decadence kept rollin' now stronger and more auditions followed.

Finally, in September 2006 Micky, Emmy and Oliver managed to complete the line-up with Lauri as a second guitarist and Rikhard as a bassist for the first gig at Ilokivi. Lauri was soon replaced by Rikhard and band was preparing for recordings also with new bassist J'mo, but something wasn't right. After a while the unstable and fractured situation with multiple line-up changes became even more complicated when the band were again without permanent guitarist and now bassist Dime were chosen for the next live show in march 2007. Occasionally, at the same time a fast fingered guitarist Jonathan was found from Oulu to complete "evil-twin" with Micky and a part of Dollstory was made in that moment. This was truly a fresh and golden start for the band, that was dancing on glass more than once over the years.

Soon after that band made an effort and two energetic shows at Sataman Yö's band contest reaching all the way to final and silver from 40 bands overall. However, the struggle for a permanent line-up seemed to follow again after a significant few weeks in Dollstory when Dime ended up leaving the band for real wild child this time. In September 2007 Olle, a bass player from Kuopio, was joined the band and finally the line-up was completed after three years of fire and ice - mainly decadent, but sometimes chaotic Dollstory. A while ago the band found themselves rockin' at studio and recording four new songs.

Dolls of Decadence's first promo -cd will be officially out in December, and they are ready to rock the world!!
